Dear Techtextil and Texprocess Exhibitor,

We had dates in May and a great overall concept. We were full of hope and, together with you, were looking forward to reuniting the textile world in Frankfurt. Finally, however, we must bow to the current situation.

Unfortunately, it will not be possible to hold the trio of trade fairs – Techtextil, Texprocess and Heimtextil – planned as a one-off event for May 2021. The worsening pandemic, the current ban on fairs in Germany and the on-going international travel restrictions have caused us to postpone the three trade fairs until next year. Although we very much regret this inescapable decision, we also hope that, by taking this decision at an early stage, we will have given you a high degree of certainty for your forward planning.

Over recent years, Techtextil and Texprocess have grown constantly and become more and more international. This high degree of internationality is an important benefit for you as an exhibitor, as well as for our visitors and partners. Accordingly, the international travel restrictions mean that we cannot currently do justice to our commitment to holding the world’s leading trade fairs for the sector.

Now, our attention is directed to the future and both events will be held in the second quarter of 2022.

We will begin our planning and preparatory work in the near future and will soon be sending you further details including the exact dates, the registration deadline and potential digital and content offers as alternatives to the physical fairs.

In the meantime, we would like to thank you very much for your solidarity and the trust you have placed in us despite the difficult situation.

We are looking forward more than ever before to an international reunion of the sector in the second quarter of next year, and to seeing you again.

With best wishes from Frankfurt,
